Travel Insurance
Has anyone ever bought travel insurance on their own for a trip? If so, who did you use? We are going to Key West in 3 weeks and with all the hurricanes and a very elderly family member who seems to be fading a little , I want to make sure we are covered.
Thanks.

Re: Travel Insurance
I used it for my honeymoon. With a trip to Africa in the middle of winter, we would have been silly not to spend the money.
We didn;t need it, thank goodness, but we were glad to know in case of a blizzard, or natural disaster or terrorist attack we were covered. We spent a lot of money on our honeymoon and I didn't want to lose it if soemthing happened.
We used Travel Guard.

Re: Travel Insurance
I used travel guard for my HM.....we had to change our plans last minute due to a family illness & we were given a ton of red tape & never got a dime back.

Re: Travel Insurance
I forgot to mention, when we went to Europe the last time we used Travel Insured & they were great. We got delayed and they took care of the hotel for the extra night. Very good company.
