sleeping at night question.
I am breastfeeding baby during the day (the baby will be 3 weeks on wednesday) at night I give her formula. The past 2 nights she has slept 6 hours without getting up - I never wake her for feeding as she usually goes 2-4 hours on her own - but... 6 hours??...is that too long to let her go? She seems fine otherwise - pooping plenty, gaining weight. I would LOVE it if she slept 6 hours at night all the time - I feel so much more human with some sleep. What is your opinion?

Re: sleeping at night question.
I would let her sleep at night. Alex started sleeping 5 to 6 hours a night when he was about 5 weeks old and I was ebf at that time. If she is gaining weight steadily I wouldn't be worried about waking her up. If she was hungry she would let you know....enjoy your rest.

I would let her sleep marissa did the same thing sometimes she would actually sleep through a feeding and when she woke up she would eat and stay awake longerthen usual but then go back to sleep for another stretch it was the best at nite so I Was able to get some sleep

As long as your baby is gaining weight, I would let the baby sleep.

Re: sleeping at night question.
i think you'd be insane to wake any baby up in the middle of the night unless your doctor says there is a weight issue and you have to.
