ebay question- newbie here
i just opened up a checking acct to start selling on ebay. question- how do you figure out how much to charge for shipping, and how do you go about packaging it up to ship? Do you have to get the boxes from the post office? Do you leave your home address as the shipping address?
Thank you so much!!

ups and usps have ways of figureing out how much shipping would cost based on box size and weight...might be a good place to start, and find a good source for boxes at a cheap rate. Factor supplies plus actual cost of shipping for your cost... you may want to factor time in there also

Re: ebay question- newbie here
yea.. if you go to usps.com and put in your estimate of how much something costs... Then when you are selling you can put shipping as either that flate rate price ( dont forget to add something on for any shipping costs to you, like boxes, etcc.. I usually add on about 2 dollars on top of what it wouldreally cost) or you can put in calculate for buyers.. so like if I want your item, i have to put in my zip code and it would give me a price.. This is good since obviously if yours sending something out to me here on long island or sending something out to california the shipping will be a little different. I use the calculate most of the time so I dont screw myself...
