I like both the chandelier and the dining set on their own, but I'm not sure how they'd look together- I think I picture a chandelier with less "swirls" if that makes any sense. The dining set is elegant in a more simple way.

Then again, it's also hard to say without seeing the actual room.

Totally agree. GREAT peices on their own, but together...something isn't right.

me too. I think I like the black metal part with the table but not the cloth shades with the set, somehow it just does not feel right. I would do a black metal with candlestick style flame lightbulb instead.

Re: Design question- what do you think...

Thanks for your opinions. I've looked everywhere for just the right chandelier and I just can't find one! I did order this one (it was very reasonable on greatchandeliers.com) so if it doesn't look right I'll return it and keep looking.

Re: Design question- what do you think...

WOW I really like that... Thanks for posting!
But I only paid $99 for the other, so I jump to $320 is a bit much- but I'll keep it on the back burner just in case the other looks awful.

imo, this combo doesn't go very well.

that DR set is a country style, while the chandelier is more kinda sleek/modern looking..Chat Icon
