Macromedia Web Designer Certificate Program

Hi Paul Edelson,

Curriculum Cordinator Joan Miyazaki and I have just completed the SPD Macromedia Web Designer Certificate Program (Macromedia Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash). Joan was especially interested in the Flash portion of the course, wanting to use this to create instructional materials for Undergraduate Biology. I, on the other hand, have to modify the BIO web site, to ensure we are in compliance with the new SBU web site.

On my course evaluation sheet I recommended an extension (2-3 weeks) of the Dreamweaver portion of the program. I also mentioned that I thought you should add a separate Advanced Flash Course to your curriculum.

This certificate program is overall excellent and I had a great time taking the courses. I would especially like to emphasize that Tara Burst (?Mazovitch) and Wipoj Huse are excellent instructors.
