Anyone have a Bugaboo?

Which one do you have? I'm looking for feedback from parents who own them.

DH and I looked at one and he's totally sold. I like it but I like to overanalyze everything to make sure we get the best value for the money before we purchase.

Thanks in advance!
Dawn

Re: Anyone have a Bugaboo?

I have one and LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE it.

Its easy to fold and unfold, its lightweight, the seat is fantastic and cozy, the suspension is awesome and it looks sweet! I think the best thing about it is that the seat can face you or it can face outwards...the best thing about the seat facing you is the interaction and the fact that its very good for your babies speech development because they watch you constantly.

FM me with anymore specifics if you want

eta I have a Frog, I don't rate the cameleon or the gecko as feedback is that the fabric doesn't keep particularly well and gets all bobbly...

I have the Frog. I think the Chameleon is too big and we don't have any problems with the height of the stroller. A friend with the Chameleon recommended that I get the Frog.

I live in the city. Just some things to think about, its a PITA to put together and its hard to do if you are alone with a baby. It also has a small basket and my DD hated the bassinette so we never used it- just the car seat.

But on bumps and stuff it is a dream!!

ETA: I also love the fact that I can switch the handles. Great feature!!!!

For you, a picture of my bug. Note how it matches my car...one should never be seen with a pram that doesn't match their automobile!

We have the Chameleon.

I haven't used it all that much yet b/c DD is just over 3 weeks old, but for the little bit we have used it, we love it.

My DH loves the Chameleon as well. We also have a Peg Perego Venezia MT and DH wants to get rid of it after using the Chameleon.

Re: Anyone have a Bugaboo?

I must agree with all the other Bugaboo owners that I also LOVE LOVE LOVE ours!

Suspension is incomparable to others out there, very comfortable seat, nice and sturdy........... It does have some drawbacks (Heavy, small basket, bulky) but we live by the beach and pretty much use this to go everywhere (including the sand btw).

I have it in pink & orange (i bought the extra cover) Chat Icon . We used the car seat attachment and the actual seat more than the bassinet. But the bassinet is great for little infants when you take walks as you can also use it as a changing table Chat Icon

Is it worth the $$$$$- IMO yes if you have the bucks to spare. Fortunately i didn't pay for mine but i will tell you i eyed it for a long time and was going back and forth between whether or not to buy it (leaning towards getting it) but i ended up getting it as a gift from my bosses.

Ugh, I have to go sit down in a cafe to have my Macchatio!!! and if you look closely, there is a little hook for my shopping...although bags from my local Greengrocers is all that I am buying these days!!! I don't know what the bar is for but Noah likes to chew on it...and its handy for using as a handle, especially when going up and down into shops!!!
