we just picked up our wedding video ...
and i think i am going to cry
they decided to cut out our entire ceremony - well not the whole thing - they managed to get 90 seconds of our groomsman saying "we wish you peace" at the end .......
not only that the video isnt sound balanced it fades in and out and has horrendous feedback in it
i want to crawl in a hole and die.
ever since mr stevens died i cant get anything done through his office. 
aside from strangling the video guy what can we do?

DO you have the raw footage? Maybe you can take it elsewhere to be edited.

You need the raw footage and anyone can edit the video. Demanding a refund might not get you too far, but it's worth a try. At least if you have the raw footage it can be fixed.

thanks for all the support ladies - i was just beside myself yesterday
mrs stevens called me today and said she will personally talk to the guy and make him fix it - so i have a bit of hope - i thik they should make it right and am going to give them a chance to fix it.
thanks for all the hugs i definately needed them

I am so sorry this happened to your video. I know how you must feel, because something similar happened to me. Definitely check out your raw footage to make sure it is there. On our video something happened to the tape and there were lines through the entire ending from the cake cutting on, so they edited it all out of the final copy. They missed the bouqet and garter throwing, the dance with my father, and a very emotional dance with my dh and his aunt, and the whole end of my reception. I was so upset and angry because they didn't even tell me that the video got messed up. I got home and watched it and had to find out on my own. When I played the raw footage it abrubtly ended because they didn't want me to see the lines going through so they cut the entire part out. My dh and I were livid so we went there, threw the tapes on the owners desk and demanded to know what happened. They let us keep the tapes (which I never watch because it upsets me) and gave us our money back. As long as you have the raw footage they should be able to fix it free of charge. If not I would get your money back!
