Ackkk Christening Gown Search
This is harder than it was for my wedding dress!!! I must say I have good taste because everything I have picked up has been the most expensive thing in the store LOL Anyone else hate sequins as much as me??? It would be easier if I liked gaudy stuff

I had to use DH's ugly polyester christening gown... I know I should be grateful but when you see those Belgium cotton ones...
Clearly you have good taste. You picked a DH that has 1/2 the genes to create such a beautiful little girl!

LMAO Gina.......I had the SAME problem!!!!! I had a credit at Denny's so I got Ava's dress there and surprisingly it wasn't as much $$ as I thought.
Little Shop in Smithtown has a lot of cute dresses too.

Believe it or not, try the atias flea market- They have nice stuff and @ a great price....
I went through something similar- and ended up there as a last resort- and I was very pleased!

Did you try Little Dickens on Middle County Rd? I just got my dd's communion dress there and we got my nephews christening outfit there 2 years ago. The prices are not that bad and good quality.

They have beautiful heirloom dresses for decent prices.

I just got my son's at Strasberg (sp?) children at the Tanger outlets. It was only $60 and I love it! They had a nice selection of girls' dresses

I am finding that if you do a google search there are a lot of websites with really nice gowns for more in the $100-150 range.

I found SO many christening gowns overly ruffly and frilly for my taste. I wanted something classic and simple. I found the PERFECT gown at Charlotte's Kids in Massapequa. It was expensive but worth it to me.

We got hers there too and no sequins. It had a beautiful overlay on it with some flowers. It was delicate and simple!

It is on Middle County Rd. in Centereach (I think because it might be on the border of Selden). It is across from McDonald's in a little strip mall.
