DH was not happy with me today

So we had an open house today so we decided to leave and told the agent to just lock up. We took DH's car and his house keys aren't on the key chain (you see were this is going?) and I ran out of the house. We get home and he askes me for the keys and I said I don't have them you do. And he says that he doesn't and I thought he was joking with me but he wasn't. The real estates agents office was closed so we coudlnt get the extra key from them. So DH had to climb through our sons bedroom window (I happened to leave one of the windows unlocked) to open the door. Now I am sure some of you are probably thinking "why don't their neighbor's have a set of keys" and I have an answer. See two Weeks ago I took DS for a walk a walk I always do with him and its about 45 minutes then I went to my neighbor's house and sat down until DH came home. He went in the house and I went to take my keys out of my pocket and they fell out somewhere . DH felt like this. So we had to get a new lock for the door $24 and had to have my car reprogrammed $65 beause the I don't have actually car key it is a transmitter and he was worried someone would be driving around trying various cars. After we do all this my neighbor calls and says he has our keys that it was in the couch that it fell in between the cushions. Now my DH and my neighbor both looked for the keys.

i have done this before so many times!! to the point my 2 neighbors have a key i need a lock that you can use a pin pad or something.. i lose my keys so much..

Janet, the pin pad is a great idea. I had that at work to the office but always forgot the front door key . Luckly that door was on a timer so the automatic lock would shut off at a certain time.
