Drama at the Gyno today
So as you all know I took 2 HPT's this week (1st the First Response which had a faint 2nd line so I took an EPT which said PREGNANT in big bold letters). I already had a regular appt. scheduled with my gyno so I went today with DH excited that we were pregnant. I told the nurse when she asked for a urine sample and she did a pregnancy test. Well the same thing happened as with the First Response, there was only a faint 2nd line. So she threw it out and did it again. So I am speaking to the dr. and told her i had 2 positive HPT tests this week and she looks at me and says "the nurse told me the test was negative". My face dropped and i was sooooo upset. DH and I didnt know what to say. (I was thinking to myself I know I am pregnant I missed my period, I have all these signs and 2 positive HPT's). So she walks out and looks at the test herself which was at the nurses station, to my relief she walks in and says "now you had 3 positives, your pregnant". She said it doesnt matter how faint or dark the 2nd line is, that a line is a line. She said based on my last period June 26th, I am probably only about 3 1/2 weeks pregnant so that is why the 2nd line may still be a little faint. So anyway, I am excited. I am my first OB appt. in 2 1/2 weeks. I can't wait!!!
