setting up crib with bedding

How far along were you when you set everything up. I had a shower this weekend, and got a ton of stuff. I'm 29 weeks. When did everyone take it out of the box and set it up, especially the bedding? I don't want things to get dirty, and we have 2 big dogs.

We set up the crib about a month before my due date and the bedding about 1 week before. Well everything except the sheet I left that for after the baby came home.

Just found out my crib is on back order and wont be in until the end of June. I was hoping to have it before my shower which is 6/10 but I guess it can wait. Just as long as i have it before my due date of 7/24. I plan on setting as much up as I can before the babies arrival.

i just washed the bumper, bed skirt and sheets today. i placed everything in the crib to make sure it fits, but will change the sheet when sleeps in it for the first time. the other sheets and some clothing i am washing and putting away...

Im going to wait till I get back from the hospital except for the crib skirt so nothing gets dusty.

I just had my shower this past weekend, so I didn't set the crib up till then. I'm 36 weeks. I didn't see the need to set it up any earlier, but that's what worked for us.

crib was set up since about 22-23 weeks
bedding will not be set up until about a week or two before date!!!
