Bassinet sleeping and lying flat

Is anyone having trouble or did anyone have trouble with this? My daughter doesnt like to lay flat. I use the inclined to sleep thingy and when I put her in there she sleeps for about 10 minutes then is up again. She also slides down to the bottom of the basinnet I think its the inclined to sleep because its on a angle? Did anyone NOT use that thing.. Right now she is sleeping in the swing and sleeps great.. I am afraid she will never get out of that thing and I will never get her to lay flat..

My little Louie was the same way. So I changed to a regular sleep positioner that was not inclined and it was a god send. They sell it at babies r us for about 12 dollars. It looks like to humps that connect with fabric in the middle that can adjust to fit baby. He used that up until he coudl roll over whcih was about a month ago.

Jake didn't like sleeping flat or in the bassinet for a long time in the beginning either. So he slept in the car seat at night and in the swing for naps.

When we moved him to the crib, we stuffed the comforter from his bedding set folded up under the mattress in order to create an incline and it helped with the transition.

Trying to incline the bassinet did not work at all for us. Our bassinet "mattress" was just too flimsy.

Jacob also does not like to sleep laying flat, and he too has been sleeping in his car seat at night and the swing for naps during the day. I am going to incline the crib mattress though and try to make the transition soon. My bassinett mattress is also too flimsy to incline really good. Good luck!Chat Icon
