Disney Trivia Volume 1 -WDW edition

For all of you going to Disney this summer, or like me, in withdrawal, here is the first edition of Disney Trivia. Unlike other trivia, you just answer in the post. The person who gets the most right is the winner! You don't really win anything other than recognition and a sense of satisfaction.

(oh and no cheating!)

1. In what year did Walt Disney World open?

2. What are Disney employees commonly called?

3. Walt Disney world resort has 4 main gates and 2 waterparks. Name them.

4. Where at WDW can you see the artist Michaelangelo painting one of his most famous creations?

5. As part of the 2005 Happiest Celebration on Earth, Disney Imagineers unveiled an interactive talking Dinosaur at Animal Kingdom, displaying the latest in audioanimatronics. What is his name?

6. Which rock band is featured in Disney-MGM Studios' Rock N Rollercoaster?

7. "Epcot" as it is now called, was originally EPCOT, an acronym. What did it stand for?

8. Which Disney Resorts are connected by monorail?

9. At Disneyland Anaheim, the castle at the end of Main Street belongs to Sleeping Beauty, at Disneyland Tokyo, it belongs to Cinderella. Whose castle graces the end of Main Street in WDW's Maic Kingdom park?

10. As part of the Magical Gatherings celebration started in 2003, Disney unveiled a brand new fireworks spectacular with the most advanced technology. What is it called?

Bonus Question:

Name three of the four 3D or 4D movie attractions at Walt Disney World's parks.

So far Phoenix is in the lead with 9/10 plus the bonus.

I have you all stumped on Michaelangelo.

You're all SORT of close. It IS in EPCOT. That's the only hint for now!
