How Long to wait...
How long are you suppose to wait before getting pregnant again?
DH told me yesterday that he wants me to have another right away...lol...the first one isn't even here yet!! 
But we were just talking about it and I wasn't sure if there was a specific time you were suppose to wait.

That's is so funny because over the weekend DH also told me he wanted to have another one as soon as my baby is born in May. I told him are you crazy. If he convinces me to have another this year, then we will probably start trying 3-4 months after my baby is born.

i think I heard you should give your body about a year to recover, but plenty of people get pg sooner.

Someone told me her doctor told her your body needs 2 years to recover from giving birth. But i have two friends that got pregnant 4 months and 5 months after having one, both in error.

That's what I was told too. I've also heard you're most fertile after you have the baby. My husband asked about it in the delivery room. My reply was "Can we wait until they're done stitching me up before we discuss this?"

lol i don't think he wants to wait that long. He was talking about like right away. What is that called, irish twins or something?
I just couldn't believe it. I think as my belly grows he is starting to feel that it is real more and more and actually enjoy it.

You need AF to come back ...and if you're planning on BF you wont get AF for a little longer. Once you have AF I guess its up to you to start TTC again!
DH said the same to me, he wants another right away but I told him I wanted to wait a couple of years.

My brother and I are only 10 months apart.....  My mom did just fine!
Even if you BF, you can get pregnant, its not a fool proof BC method.
Ideally, my doc told me after my c/s, I should wait about 18 months in between giving birth. This baby will be 2 years apart from Andrew.

We wanted to get prgenant right away since we started out getting married later in life. My daughter is 17 months and my second daughter is 6 weeks. (she arrived 4 weeks early)
We had no complecations. My ob had suggested we wait 5-6 months to recover.
