Need quick vaca advice please
Looking for a quick getaway for next week but I have some very specific hopes in mind and can't for the life of me think of anything PLEASE HELP: 1. no plane required (but can be a long drive) 2. nice luxurious hotel - not a b&b fan 3. outdoor pool or beach (i.e. maybe a tan)? 4. nice restaurants
Please help!!!!!! Thanks in advance!

maybe somewhere in Mystic, CT?
short drive, beautiful town, great food (especially if you love seafood or pizza), and i'm sure there are tons of hotels that would fit your needs

Re: Need quick vaca advice please
OK-- here are a few ideas..
Cape May, NJ-- you can stay in a luxury hotel there NOT a B&B-- Either the Virginia, Congress Hall or Southern Mansion. Depending on where you are leaving from 2.5 to 3 hour drive.
Boston, MA-- Stay at any top hotel- most have pools there. It's a major city with major restaurants and major chefs. (4 hour drive)
Philadelphia, PA-- Same as Boston. I am sure you can find a hotel with a pool. (2 to 3 hour drive)
Ocean City, MD-- never been, but sure you can find what you want-- longer drive though.
