Who saw Dora at White Post Farm today
we went ....it was sooooo HOT
I think they made it sound better on the commercial than it really was
She stayed in a tent and you had to wait so long to get a picture with her
the kids had fun i

We just got back. The advertisments were misleading. By the time we got there, it was about a two hour wait to get your picture with her.I thought she would be walking around. We didn't do the wait, but had fun with everything else there. I didn't know how nice that place was until today.

I have to say it was really HOT
as soon as you get there go right to Dora and get a #........................then go do the treasure hunt and play on the playground stuff feed the animals etc and then go check back what # they are up to
oh pack a cooler of drinks too

I hate that about kids stuff in general. Toys and such as well...what percent of the stuff out there for kids, be it products or events are ever as good as they make them sound? I can only imagine how hot it was!

We went today too, it was too hot!!
I wasn't happy with the way they had Dora either. You had no way of knowing about the number system because the tent was soo crowded you couldn't move around it in. The first time we went over, saw too much of a crowd and went to do other things (didn't know about grabbing a number) went back a second time and got a number and had to wait for 125 people to go ahead of us. We didn't wait.
The kids had fun feeding the animals, riding the train and doing the scavenger hunt and playing in the sandbox.
I haven't been there in a few years and surpised at how much it has changed.
We did love the misting fans though ;)

we went today. I thought the Dora thing wasn't all it was cracked up to be. Ryan liked the treasure hunt and he LOVED the animals. We were feeding the goats and Ryan looked atthem and said More.... More....
How cute is that?
