at what age did you start veggies & fruit?
And which one first? the cereal is going well, but my mother insists he needs veggies...

I tried fruit around 2 months and veggies/meat at 6 months.

I started greens first. Then yellows and oranges. I started at about 4 1/2 months.

In his 4th month, I started fruit. Once I did all stage 1 fruits, I moved on to veggies. I did each for a week before moving on because I was being overly cautious.

I started fruit (banana, applesause, peaches then pears) and veggies (sweet potatoes, carrots, green beans, peas, then squash) at 5 months.

I did fruit first at 4 months and then veggies. Same as Niecey, each kind for a week before I tried another.
ETA: my doctor said to start with fruit, but I've read in a few places that a lot of people feel you should start with veggies since they aren't as sweet. some babies who are started on fruit don't really take to veggies when the are introduced later.

I started veggies first at 5.5 months after we tried all the veggies we moved onto fruit.

We started with Veggies first a 4 1/2 months. One green for three days and then a yellow/orange for three days and then another green and so on. My doctor said to switch back and forth because Kevin is so fair-skinned if I gave him yellow/orange veggies for a longer period of time his skin might actually start turning orange!
We started veggies once he made his way through all the Stage 1 veggies.

I started Julia at 4 months, thats when my doctor said its best to.

I started at 6 months. Not sure which I did first, of course she didn't eat either so I guess it didn't matter. hehe.

Started with Veg around 4.5-5 months. (orange, yellow, green) Then fruits - ate bananas and apples sparingly for the most part though because they were binding.
