Office Pet Peeve
OK, I have many, many office pet peeves, but one that is really bothering me as I type is when someone types really really hard. It sounds as if they are hammering the keyboard. What is the purpose of typing so hard? I wonder if her fingertips hurt at the end of the day.

UH oh, I'm an office loud typer! I'm a writer and when I'm really on a roll I tend to get loud, just like when I am speaking.

When others talk loud enough to hear their "personal" stories on the phone. I mean, if I have to listen to all your cr@p, can you at least try and make it entertaining for me and get into some good gossip?

**co-workers who burp out loud (yes, this happens)
**saying "Good Morning" and "Good night" to every single person on your way in and out of the office. Just say one salutation, and we feel like acknowledging you, we will.
**phone stalkers -- if you see I am on the phone, go away, i will call you when I get off.
**when you are taking a message and someone keeps asking you to ask the person something...do you want a message taken or would you like to take the call?
**when there are 3 other stalls available and you take the one right next to me.
**office nose pickers
**office nail clippers
**office food stealers (usually the people who can afford to buy a whole grocery store)
**office know it alls
** office inappropriate dressers (meaning the person who squeezes into everything they own to the point of looking sausage-like then have the cojones to say that they are the only people to dress professionally).
I have quite a few more....

I agree with most of these, and other I haven't heard are when...
*someone talks on their speaker phone, loud enough for others to hear.
*someone calls the person in the next cube, when they could just walk there.
*a co-worker leaves you a message, email AND a note on your desk about the SAME topic (dude, one message is enough!).
*a person asks you "how are you?" not really caring to hear the answer (pretty much as they're walking away) - just "hi" is sufficient.
