REpost From LIW: Need prayers for brother-in-laws very close friend.
Sunday afternoon my sister received a phone call from the hospital saying that their close friend has been in a serious car accident. They would not give any info. on the phone. When my sister and BIL arrived they said they were his brother and SIL. George (my BIL very close friend) has no family on LI and my BIL Tom grew up with him.
It turns out that George has a spinal cord injury and at this point has limited use of his arms and hands. He can not feel his legs and his breathing is labored. The doctors says chances are that he will be paralyzed from the chest down and may need to be on a breathing machine.
Right now everything is on my sister and BIL. They contacted his family in OHio. George's mom is very sick and needs to get permission from her doctor to travel. My sister says George is extremely depressed and no longer wants to live. He needs a miracle to get through this and could use all and any prays right now. I appreciate all your thoughts and prays.
