I haven't spoken to this friend in about 3 years sadly. Today, he resent me the email he sent me on 9.11 (UPDATE)
Update: He just wrote me back. So nice to hear from him again.
And, I want to share it with you. It's sad that we lost touch...I just wrote him back.
Here is the email i put out at about 1am we were all confused and in shock.
After today's events I, and I'm sure all of You, will
look at life a little different. Today, we all have
seen what Living Hell looks like before our very eyes.
Well it is now 1:00 in the morning and I could not
remotely get any sleep. Today i had feelings, and
again I am sure all of you had aswell, that I have not
had before. I immediately thought of how many of us
are so fortunate that we are reading this email this
morning after. When i saw that 1st tower come down, I
felt this devastation was 1 million times greater than
anything i could ever imagine. It really hit home when
i realised that I and many good friends and family,
worked and lived within feet of this complete
disaster. I just wanted to take 1 second to let every
one know that I am completely honored and blessed to
have you all as my friends and i know that every
single one of you guys feel the same way. I did not
write this email to depress people, i just wanted to
say I love you all and i truly am happy that you and i
are alive and well. Lets just hope that more people
are found and can return to thier families just like
we did.

I commend him for taking time to let his friends & family know that he loves them. Many people don't hear those words often.

I hope so, too. He kind of had a crush on me, but I'd already began to date DH and didn't want to see anyone else. Anyway, we got in a fight and stopped talking. Then, he sent that and I felt so much better about things and was happy he thought of me. I wrote him so, but he never got back to me. It was odd.....
