Re: Good Deal for someone looking for a tree
I just know that LTD has insane shipping costs. Even though its listed at $60, with shipping it will be way over $100.

LTD also has a policy that if you order from them and you aren't an established business that they can trace, they will send you this post card in the mail and request for you to pay them by check only before they ship anything. Oh and they forget to tell you that even though you see on your bank statement that the check cleared 3 days after you sent it, they hold the stuff for a week after that! So then you wind up getting things late for Christmas (oops, sorry, went off on a personal rant!)
Anyway, what I'm saying is be careful with them. If you aren't an established, traceable business, make sure you leave yourself PLENTY of time to get your stuff from them!!!

Myself and everyone I know just use the company that they work for. I have never had a problem.

I saw a commercial last night for the Martha Stewart pre-lit 7 ft tree at K-Mart. it's $80... sounds like a good deal to me.

Re: Good Deal for someone looking for a tree
Right, I know, what I was trying to say before I went off on my personal rant was . . . .
If you aren't an ESTABLISHED company that they can trace they won't send to you unless you establish yourself with them.
My mom has a tax ID number for a side self-business of her's and when we decided to order from LTD they wouldn't send to us because they couldn't "trace" us. Once we established ourselves (buy placing an order with them, paying them by check and then we were "established") we have had no problems anymore.
