High Risk Dr.
Can anyone reccomend a High Risk Dr. in Manhattan? I just found out I have GD.

Sorry I'm not familiar with anyone in Manhattan. Have you looked into seeing a nutritionist yet to create a diet for you?

I had GD with my first and now am a type 2 diabetic and preggo with my second. Please FM me with anything you need to know. I go to the Center for Diabetes in Pregnancy in Manhasset. Maybe they can help you out. Here is their website

I also had GD and never needed a high-risk OB, just saw a nutritionist and had some extra sonograms. Is your doctor requesting a high-risk OB?

Thank You ladies for all of your responses.
My Dr. called me today to tell me that 2 readings from my 3hr test were abnormal and she wants me to see a nutritionist and a high risk Dr. to measure the size of the baby.
I really want to find out houw abnormal my numbers are so I'm waiting for her to call me back.
