Everyone always loves my baked clam dip and its pretty easy and can be made a day ahead of time
1 medium onion chopped 1 green pepper chopped 2 garlic cloves chopped 3/4 stick of butter 2 tsp oregano juice of 2 lemons 1 can chopped clams 1 can minced clams dash of tabasco 1 cup bread crumbs shredded cheddar
In a medium sized skillet, simmer clams with their juice and juice of lemon for 5 mins. Then add butter and remaining ingredients and simmer until onions and peppers are soft. Mix in breadcrumbs. Transfer to a pie dish top with grated cheddar. Bake 25 minutes at 350. Serve with crackers or chips.
