Dh has a stomach virus
Need some suggestions on what he can eat besides soup and jello. (he's kind of getting sick of that!)

I just got over a stomach virus and I couldnt stomach anything that wasnt carbs---crackers, pretzels, english muffins, toast

My DH had this last night. He felt like he was going to vomit, was constantly in the bathroom ( I think he'd kill me if he knew I wrote that) and had no appetite. Plus he had a fever of 101.1. Today he is better but still not much of an appetite.
I hope he feels better.

toast, rice, applesauce, bananas...just keep it bland. Stay away from dairy products until his digestive system starts to function properly.
There's a bad GI virus going around. I had it last week (w/a 104 fever) and I work at a nursing facility where 1/2 of the facility is cohorted because of this thing.

I had it three weeks ago when we went down to FL for a wedding... I was puking my guts out in the hotel.
Plain baked potatoes.
Trader Joe's sells "Ginger Beer". It's not beer but a stronger form of ginger ale. Regular ginger ale really doesn't have enough ginger to soothe most stomaches. It has a bit of a bite to it but I swear it works. Comes in a four pack, green bottles for about $2 something.
Hope he feels better.
