Usually a card for both. I dont necessarily buy gifts unless I see something that I know my mom will love, I will get it for her. Otherwise.......we just cook her dinner.
I think last year we had my MIL come over to join for dinner as well. Although I have to ask hubbie if he wants to do that this year....

We just usally get my mom flowers.
DH get MIL a gift, but I try & stay out if it if I can, but sometimes he needs help.

We send my stepmother a card (we don't see her for mother's day. She and my dad usually go out to brunch with her family..no invite for us). We get my MIL a gift (she deserves sooo much more than we can afford to give)!

I take both moms out to brunh, although this year we are having a bbq at our house. I will most likely get my mom a cell phone cuz she needs one. I do not plan on buying anything for MIL.

my situation is different- my Mom passed away- so I don't do anything for my MIL-
I will see my Grandma- and bring her a picture from the wedding of all her grandkids in a nice fram
we never made a big deal out of Mothers day even when my mom was alive- I was never allowed to by my Parents gifts- my Dad wont accept them

I will be cooking dinner for my MIL next Sunday. She's been very good to me.

Last year, it was just cards and flowers for both. This year though, since it's their first year as Grandma's, I want to get them both something nice to recognize that.

We usually send my mom money so she can buy what she wants. I do nothing for my MIL. My dh can buy her a card if he wants but usually he forgets-oh well-lol!!
