This may sound silly...but when do sleep problems start (putting them down)?
Is it something that is always an issue with a child...or do they grow into it as they get older...are they harder to put to sleep as time goes on?

Re: when do sleeping problems start?
It almost seems cyclical to me. It seems like just when they start going down with ease, or sleeping through the night, they reach some milestone like teething, separation anxiety that disrupts their wonderful sleeping pattern. Jack is 14 months old and has been sleeping great from about 7:30- 7 everynight. But lately he's been waking up like twice a night and we have no idea why. Molars are in, he's not sick. I;m just assuming that we will have bad nights until they are at least 3 or even older!
