Could you settle for less? Opinions Wanted

Lets say you met someone who you could only see 50% of the time but they made you 100% happy.

Then you met someone who you had 100% access too but they only made you half as happy.

Would you be able to settle for less cause that was easier?

You can apply this to friends, girl friends, boyfriends, jobs, SO's.. Im curious as to what your take on this is

Id rather be 100% happy 1/2 the time than 1/2 happy all the time.

Re: Could you settle for less? Opinions Wanted

I would have to say that I would rather see someone less if they made me 100% happy. What's the sense in settling for less??? Just to see them, but not be totally happy?? No way...I wouldn't do it.

Is the 50% of the time apart ever going to change? I would rather be 100% happy!

For example, my best friend in the world moved to Denver three years ago... Now I only see her maybe 2 days a year, but I'd rather have her as a best friend than some people I know here that I could see all of the time!

Re: Could you settle for less? Opinions Wanted

michi, being 100% happy overrides any percentage of separation

and if the separation is an issue, then you need to find someone that you have 100% access to that makes you 100% happy.

but happiness should never take a back seat.

Re: Could you settle for less? Opinions Wanted

I think that i could NEVER settle for less. What is the point of settleing anyway? You won't be any happier.
Sometimes the best is worth waiting for!

And i would never want 100% access. It would make me lose interest VERY fast.

100% happy, even if it is 50% of the time - no doubt about it.

If you're 100% happy, that 50% that you're not with the person, you're probably dreaming/thinking about him/her!
