Ending Construction feels good!
Now we just need to finish painting, find a rug for the playroom and get new ceiling fixtures! But it sure is nice to get rid of the construction dust.
Why is it something that was supposed to be nice and easy always leads you to wanting to do more???

Oh Jamie, guess what I am listening to right now!!! The drill and the hammer!!! It never ends in my house, how I wish it would! Or at least take a break. I hear banging!!!!

No way Phil is still going?? But at least he does beautiful work!! If and when Phil ever finishes I know your house will be a show place!

He is currently re-doing my bathroom. Yes, I can hear the drill as I type.
The next thing will be the garage, at least that is detached (I wanted it not connected to the house!!!)

I know what you mean, we renovated 90% of our house over the summer, what a mess. The kitchen, living room, dr and bathroom. I was so happy when it was done. Now we are gutting the apartment upstairs.....a new nightmare began last week.

I haven't even gotten to the dust stage yet. They are just building the frame of the extension now.

We are always redoing something! And as messy and time consuming it is the end result is always worth it  DH just finished the nursery this weekend and I want him to redo our bedroom, paint, molidng and carpet before she arrives...It never ends, lol...
