Talk about everyone around you getting PG when youre TTC

hahhahhhah I have to laugh, as you all know my stepsister got PG trying 1 month which was I think now was almost 2 months ago and now my neighbor is PG!!!!! I dont think its wise for me to TTC until I see what the endocronologist says about my thyroid, but its so funny how everyone around you gets PG when your trying!!!!!

Ug it stinks.....my best friend's baby shower was yesterday -- I was about a month behind her when I missed. Her friend who I sat next to is due 1 day after her. My other friend is having a C-section this Thursday - twins...It was rough being there....

And today my supplier in Spain was like, Oh, did I tell you I became a daddy?? Oh uh no you didn't....So he sends me pics and it is just so hard to be happy for everyone... plus they ask "So what about you? Aren't you going to have kids?" So I actually tell them I missed and that shuts them up - teaches them to be so insensitive!!!

It really stinks, and I know it's hard but we're all in this together. So if you need to vent, just go for it.

DH get comments too and it really makes me mad. He's a library director and had to fire one of his part-timers (a HS kid) cause she couldn't work the hours needed (homework, tennis, etc). He did try to be accommodating, but it wasn't good enough for the parent.

Well the mom came in to talk (complain)to him about it. (They went to HS together, so they've known each other a long time) She said "Well, F., I know you don't have any children, but you do have nephews, so you should understand the situation with homework, and sports and try to be more accommodating".

I exploded when he told me this, and asked if he told her his personal life isn't relevant to this situation. He didn't cause he would've told this woman off and it wouldn't have been "professional".

It's people like this that make us seriously consider leaving NY. It's the mentality of "I'm better than you" and "I pay taxes/your salary" that truly disgust us.
