Leg/foot cramps
Anybody get these? Sometimes in the mornings I'll stretch in bed, and you know how you point your toes when you stretch? Well, I'll get the mother of all cramps in my right calf. It's so painful that I yell out and grab my calf (and of course DH is like, "What's wrong with you???" ) Then other times I'll move my foot a certain way, and get the worst cramp in the arch of my foot. Ugh, I HATE it!

Re: Leg/foot cramps
I haven't gotten them yet in my pregnancy, but I used to get them after a night of drinking. I've heard it's partial dehydration and partial lack of potassium.

Re: Leg/foot cramps
I got one just the other day. I had jump off the bed and hurt myself in the process since my belly is big, I am at 34 wks. Drink a lot of water and eat a banana a day, it helps.

Re: Leg/foot cramps
The banana a day thing totally helps - at least it has for me. Also, if you get a cramp, make sure you flex your foot - push your heel down, don't point your toes. Ouch! Those are so painful.
