We're doing the Bahamas on Norwegian Dawn (although the itinerary's changed already - it was supposed to stop at Cape Canaveral, but is now doing Bermuda instead). My parents booked it - they're taking me and DH and my brother, his wife and their son - family vacation.
They booked through a travel agent that's a friend of my SIL's.
 
I haven't actually been on a beach vacation (or just to the beach for that matter  ) in years! I'm so excited!!!

Sounds like great fun!!! I think Bermuda is a better port than port canaveral so sounds like a good trade off.
I have to wait until Thanksgiving for our cruise.

That sounds like fun! There was a Western Carribbean one that I wish we could've gone on, but it's difficult for my brother to get time off and that one was 10days and this is only 7. I've been to the Bahamas, my SIL has been to Bermuda and my parents ahve been to both multiple times...but, oh well! Can't complain about a free vacation!

DH and I went on the Dawn 2 years ago! We had sooooooo much fun! We went with one of my friends and her husband. Ours did stop at Port Caneveral though, but we went to Universal Studios and had a ball. I loved it.
The ship is very nice looking, lots of art decor. Just a tip. If you want to avoid the crowded pool decks. On the 11th deck (I believe) is the spa, there is a spa pool there were there was hardly anyone ever there. There were also two jacuzzi tubs. We loved that spa room. It's tricky to find but I think I remember it being on the 11th floor, oh and no kids are allowed in so your brother unfortunately could bring his child in their.
Bermuda is a great port. DH and I went on a cruise to Bermuda for our Honeymoon. It's so beautiful there, we loved it!

It should be cuz we left from New York and our cruise was in July of 2004. But then again itineraries and ports can change from one year to the next...
