I have the diaper champ - I like it because you don't have to buy special bags for it.

NONE. Those things gross me out. I always just threw the diaper into a plastic bag and into the garbage. we remove garbage out daily, so it worked for us. besides, once the kids start roaming around and "exploring," the last place you want them to be is in or near those pails.

I have the diaper champ. I would recommend it. When they are young, it did a good job of locking the stink in. But once table food hit, it stopped working but I don't think anything would work now. I still use it for peepee diapers in his room and he is 13months old.

The diaper champ was good at first but like niecey said...now that he's older and eating more foods, it's not keep the diaper smell out as well.

also if you put a box of baking soda inthe bottom it helps with the odor.

Re: re post: which diaper pail is best??

no diaper pail for me either, i just wrap the dirty dipers in a plastic bag from the grocery store and use my reg. garbage pail. also, almost everytime i go to bru, there is someone returning the diper genie it never fails, so i would probably stay away from that one.

I use the Diaper Dekor still. I don't know that it's better or different than the others, but I mostly just put pee pee diapers in it now.

I used to have the Diaper Dekor & dumped it for the Champ. Like the others it was good - once they eat table food, I don't think anything works well except taking it directly out to the trash.

Re: re post: which diaper pail is best??

Better off just using your regular pail. I buy those plastic bags from bru, you get like 250 for $3.00

Re: re post: which diaper pail is best??

diaper champ here, I hate the idea of having to buy "refills" - as long as you use the little blue bags for poop diapers first, and change it like every 2-3 days, it's not that bad.

I have the Diaper Champ and we don't use it. Nothing contains his toddler poopy stinks, so we're just holding on to it to use for the newborn diapers of baby #2.

Re: re post: which diaper pail is best??

I have the Diaper champ and love it. We live in an upstairs apt so it was just so much easier to have it right there next to the changing table and we only have to clean it out every two or three days (and there was no smell at all). I've recently been cleaning it out more often b/c now that he's on solids I do notice a little smell (he is 6.5 months old). Even after we stop putting poop diapers in it we will continue to use it for pee pee diapers. The best part is you use regular garbage bagsChat Icon

I just take all poopy diapers and throw them out in a trash can we have outside our back door. I can't stand any smell of poop in my houseChat Icon
