Post pregnancy weight
Maybe this should be on the diet/fitness board but whatever...
Okay, I know it's only been a month for me but these last 15-20 pounds are sticking to me like crazy...I can't drop a pound!
So my questions are...
How long did it take you to get back to your pre-pregnancy weight?
How much did you have to lose?
What did you do?
TIA!!!

Re: Post pregnancy weight
I am in the same boat as you and Logan is now 3 months.. I still have about 15-20 lbs to loose to get back to my normal weight. I am interested to see what other moms did!

Re: Post pregnancy weight
The best thing I can say to you...it took 9 months to put it on, it may take about that to get it back off. I hit plateaus in the weight loss too, but it will come off providing you eat right, get enough rest, and get some walking in.

Re: Post pregnancy weight
I don't have a baby but before my wedding I changed my body in about 5 weeks doing Pilates Reformer. It is amazing! I took it at NYSC where I am a member and it cost 240 but it was well worth it. The reformer technique is done on a machine and IMO works better than any other type of pilates.

Re: Post pregnancy weight
probably not what you want to hear but I am STILL up 20 and my son is going to be 9 months (I gained 75) and that is WITHOUT really trying to lose it. Now I am on WW and hope to get it off before his 1st bday

Re: Post pregnancy weight
My daugher is 14 weeks and I am still up 16 pounds. Not to mention the additional 10 pounds I put on after the wedding. So really 26 pounds. I am starting ww on Tuesday. Its so depressing.

Re: Post pregnancy weight
My daughter is going to be 11 months in 2 weeks and I am just getting back to my pre pregnancy weight I have like 5 pounds to go and I will be back to it. IT does take a while some people go right back in a few months and others like myself take 9 months to a year to loose it.
