Do you work in Levittown Schools? They have a Little Red School House across from MacArthur HS/Salk MS

I went to school there. Is it directly across from MacArthur?

Re: Child Care Recommendations?

I use Marcus Avenue early childhood developmental program. It is in NHP, across from Lake success in the gateway building. I love it because it is non-profit. It is run by AHRC and Schneiders childrens hospital. They are staffed with real teachers, even have a nurse and psychologist on staff if needed. They work with children with and without special needs. Fortunately Ryan does not have special needs but there are kids in his class that do (speech, occupational). I love that he will learn about diveristy and tolerance for people with differences at the same time he learns his ABCs.

And it was less expensive (not much less) than some of the alternatives like Tutor Time

you can google it but here is there Bio from the AHRC website.Marcus avenue program

Yes, I think it is relatively new...maybe 5-6 years?

Re: Child Care Recommendations?

We've been using the tutor time in levittown and are switching next month to Little Sponges in Westbury. Tutor time was good but little sponges is closer to me and they seem like they do more with the infants. The older kids seem very happy at tutor time but I feel that my 6 month old needs more stimulation.
