August Mommies to Be

How is everyone doing? I'm 20 weeks and 3 day along. Things are going well. I had a really rough couple of months but things are looking up. I go back from my last "big" appoitment on the 17th. They are doing a fetal echo and if everything turns out good then we will begin on the nursery.

I found out I'm having a girl and I started feeling her move last week. It's the best feeling in the world! Chat Icon

I am 23 weeks and feeling really good. The first 3-4 months I did not feel well at all. I had really bad M/S. When I go back to the Dr in 3 weeks I will be doing the glucose tolerance test. We found out about a month ago that we are having a boy.

Yeah another Chat Icon like me!!! Well lets see... I'm 21w5d and she is moving all around inside. No punches or jabs but enough to make me smile. I saw my belly move for the first time the other day and that was a trip. I'm feeling good, but sleep can be uncomfortable. I'm only up 5lbs and everything is right on track. So excited, just can't wait to meet her.

Whoo Hoo for august mommies... it will be here before we know it girlsChat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

I am 21 weeks and doing great! Very tired most of the time but I'm getting used to that. I just can't get comf. at night without a heating pad, but I can deal w/it. Found out 2 wks ago we're having a Chat Icon - we are so excited! Just started registering and haven't done a thing for the baby's room...lots to do but DH is so busy. I feel the baby all the time and feel him getting stronger every week, it's amazing. It will totally be here before we know it!!!!!!!!!

Hi girls.
I am 20 wks, 5 days. doing much better now. Except for the sleeping, which it seems is the norm now.
we found out that we are having a girl! the first girl in the family...for about 20 years. She's already spoiled. She's been hitting/kicking me for the last 30 minuts. i guess the ice tea woke her up.
have a great day!!

Hi ladies :) I'm 20 wks 6 days and like most of you, feeling the baby a lot which I think is why I am waking up in the middle of the night. No complaints from me though Chat Icon Had out level II abd thankfully all is well. We didn't find out the sex and it's killing me that 2 people in the world know the sex and it's not my husband and I! I have a feeling it's a girl but who knows! Good luck ladies! Steph, I'm just a day ahead of ya Chat Icon

Re: August Mommies to Be

I am 20 weeks exactly to day. 140 left to go. We didn't find out the sex, sometimes I wish we did, sometimes I'm glad we didn't. I have to go to a endocronologist next week since my thyroid isn't right and I have two Placental Lakes, which are being observed.

I am also measuring 6 days later than my due date, however they didn't change it officially.

Hello, I am 20 weeks 1 day. Went for the ultrasound yesterday. We didn't find out the sex. DH has been saying girl since the beginning. I had no feeling, but now I am starting to lean more towards the girl feeling. So we'll see if both of our instincts are right or wrong! lol. Everything at the ultrasound looked good. They said the baby is measuring 21 weeks, not 20. It was so cool seeing the baby!

Re: August Mommies to Be

Hi Ladies,

I'll be 20 weeks on Saturday and have my level II scheduled. We think we are having a Chat Icon from our ultrascreen so we are excited to find out for sureChat Icon

I'm feeling good but still have some days that are better than others. I think I have been feeling the baby a little bit but not as much as some of you. I'm looking forward to that feeling:)

Haven't begun registering or thinking about the nursery yet because DH and I are moving in June. Should be interesting 7 months pregnant!

Re: August Mommies to Be

Sounds like everyone is doing great! My DH felt her move for the first time last night. He has been jealous that I get to feel her everyday and he doesn't. She gave me a few good kicks and he felt it!

have you started thinking about names? We are set on Parker Jane. Chat Icon

Hi to all the mommies to be!

I'm 20w 3d. We had our level II last Friday and the baby looks great and weighed 12oz We aren't finding out the sex though. I began feeling the baby move around a week or so ago and now I'm feeling kicks. I can't believe how fast everything is going!

My mom is visiting from CA so I think my sister, mom and I are going to go start registering next week.

For those of us delivering at Stonybrook, have you made any appointments yet to visit the hospital or go for class?

Re: August Mommies to Be

I'm delivering at SB and haven't done anything yet. I was going to ask me doctor at my next appoitment when I should begin doing it. It really is moving along quickly. Everday I wake up and my belly has grown. I feel so big already and I'm only half way there!! Chat Icon

Re: August Mommies to Be

I saw my doctor last week and he had me fill out the pre-registration form for Good Sam. He also told me to call them to register for lamaze and any other class I may be interested in.

When I called the registered me, but lamaze starts in june.

Re: August Mommies to Be

Hi everyone! I am 19 1/2 weeks with twins. Starting to have some blood pressure issues. My doctor has me coming in every week now for blood pressure checks and taking it at home three times a day. It looks like I am suffering from "white coat syndrome" - my B/P goes up when I enter the doctor's office. Level II is scheduled for Wednesday - we are still debating whether or not to find out the sex. I can't believe how fast this pregnancy is flying!!!!

Re: August Mommies to Be

i think we are going in may for the infant care also. and then in June for labor and delivery. next wednesday is prenatal II.
then we are also going to take a tour of the facility, but i am not sure when yet.
maybe we will all be able to get together before the babies are born?!?!?

Re: August Mommies to Be

Hey ladies just noticed this post now. Just made the August cut with my EDD 8/31. Chat Icon I'm 19w2d today have been feeling pretty good the whole time just had a slight touch of ms in the beginning. It's starting to get uncomfortable now to sleep (I miss sleeping on my belly!) so I started propping myself up with pillows. I've also been getting that round ligament pain from time to time. I feel like my organs are starting to get squished in there! I go for my Level II on 4/17 but won't be finding out the sex.
