Moms of Baby Girls
Just something I read in this month's Parenting Magazine...
The baby girl that swallowed her 1inch long barette. She was lucky enough to be able to pass it on her own, but if it didn't work out they would've had to operate.
You may want to leave them for when they're older.

Re: Moms of Baby Girls
I'm so nervous of that, Julia's hair is to short still for me to put anything in it, but I see a lot of my friends daughters pull their hair barettes out and then try to put it in their mouths, thankfully the mom is there to see it happen, but sometimes they wont be. My sister never let my niece go to sleep with anything in her hair for that reason. Its so scary!

Re: Moms of Baby Girls
MIL bought all these cute barettes for V-day (i did ask for hair bows so she was doing it at my request) and now that I see how easily they come out and she is always grabbing at her hair I am leery of continuing to use them for this exact reason. I worry that she'll choke on them and it will be while I am driving or at a time where I can't get to her fast enough.
