REgarding cold cuts...what is better? low fat or low sodium
our Dr said it was ok 1 or 2 times a week considering it's protein.
What's better....
Healthy Choice (lower in fat and endorsed by the American heart assn) or something lower in sodium?
Hormel is making a "natural" with no nitrates or added preservatives and I've read the ingredients and it seems ok to me.

Re: REgarding cold cuts...what is better? low fat or low sodium
I usually get low sodium- since thats what I buy for myself...
but we've also done the healthy choice low in fat one as well...
I could be way off here- but I thought some fat was good for them...???

I'd say lower sodium and the one that's lower in nitrates. JMO.
Some fat is good for brain development

I would go with low sodium. This early on in life they need some fat.

I agree, low sodium. Fats are needed for brain development and shouldn't be restricted much at all before 2 years.

I would go with the all natural. What about getting fresh store roasted turkey breast. That's what I do. It doesn't last as long but it's delicious and nice and fresh.
