How old was your baby once he/she was able to "watch" (focus on) and enjoy Baby Einstein or any video?

Nate has watched the Baby Beethoven and Baby Mozart since he was almost 3 months old. We only watch them once or twice a week. He watches the whole DVD. We almost always watch them together and I point out different things. The only time I put it on and walked away was when I was cooking or needed to take an important phone call.

at like 12 weeks ryan found the language nursery soothing. It never failed. Beware--it is a little strange since it is singing in all different languages.

Kevin started around a little before 3 months I would say. He enjoyed baby Mozart, Bach, Beethoven and Language Nursery (the nursery one is weird to me but seems to be a favorite - it is in all other languages - but he has squealed in delight when it is one). I started him with some of the 9months plus ones at about 6 months and he took some time but likes those too. I know I did the water one and the sky (?) one.

I have some of them and marissa never really liked them they don't seem to keep her attention for some reason I keep trying to get her to watch them but she will walk away. Barney and blues clue's she will sit and watch the entire shows but not the baby einstien. I don't know why

Nick LOVES LOVES LOVES all of the videos - they are the only thing he will watch - he had no interest in anything else. His latest favorite is Baby Wordsworth.

These videos keep me sane! Since about 3 months old he has been hooked! They keep his attention and he loves the Baby McDonald one and Baby Shakespeare. Kept him happy on our way to Florida when we traveled by plane. They used to mesmerize him, but now since he is walking all over, he doesn't have time to sit for 30 minutes, but he still likes them.

Christopher watched one BRIEFLY when he was a few weeks old, but I decided to wait until he was older to try again. Now that he's nearing 3 months I think we're going to try again very soon.

Amber was sort of watching them around 2-3 months. The baby einstein videos never really kept her attention, but Maisy was a huge hit (as you can tell from all my Ebay posts about it). She also loves this cheapo 40's Christmas cartoon video I got from Walgreen's for like $5.99. She watches about maybe an hours worth of TV in the morning (Maisy, The Wiggles, etc.) while hubby and I get ready, shower, etc. My MIL says she loves Family Feud (Don! ) and WOF because of the clapping and how people get excited. Lately I've been catching her trying to dance to the Wiggles songs.

I'm a bad mommy....I didn't realize that James was watching TV....so when he was about 3 months old I was watching Lord of the Rings...Return of the King. Well anyway James started to scream every time the Oark were on the screen...and he laughed evertime Gandolf was on the screen....so from that point on we decided that while he is awake on baby friendly shows are allowed....so far he prefers the Backyardagens, Dora and baseball....mets when he is with mommy and yankees when he if with daddy.

They were a big hit in my house too!! But my daughter loves Play with Me Sesame Street too!! She LOVES LOVES LOVES Moosey E. Moose! As soon as he comes on the TV she gets this adorable smile on her face. For me it's a double edge sword. I don't want her watching TV but sometimes it's my only savior, when she is a total crankpot!
