? regarding my pastey child and pics

We are getting pics done at Picture People when my SIL and her DC come to NY. We want to do everyone barefoot in jeans with white shirts and white background. Do you think this would look ok with Roman and I being so pale? Everyone else has dark features. Opinions, suggestions?

White shirts with a white background would probably wash you both out. White shirts with a black background wouldn't. Particuarly if you were to convert the photo to B&W.

We did a family photo over the summer and my Aunt told us we all had to wear white shirts and kahki pants. And it did wash us all out and I thought it was terrible I think something like that works if its just the kids or if you're family is practically perfect like a Gap ad, i.e. tall thin good looking which we're not . It was especially bad for those of us who are fair. So I understand your concern over your son.

So, if you are going to do a white background I'd suggest maybe pick navy and have everyone wear navy shirts? At least those would pop against the white background and not wash out your son, who is not pasty! he just has that beautiful porcelein (sp?) baby complexion.
