Almost 40 weeks....going to the doctor(update)
And hoping something is going on down there......so please send some labor vibes my way! I'll keep you posted!
UPDATE:
Ok....I just got back from the doctor and I am now 1 cm dialated (big deal) and the baby has dropped a little. They scheduled me to be induced on Thursday night if the baby doesn't come on its own....so my question is.....Isn't that kind of soon? The baby will only be 3 days late at that point. What do you think?

3 days late is a bit soon - however, did they do a sono to check the baby's size???? I know with my daughter I was 2 days past my due date and they did a sono and gave me another 5 days - if she wasn't born by then they were inducing me b/c they didn't want her to get any bigger. I wound up going not even 24 hours later.

It does seem a little bit early since technically most doctors will let you go 2 weeks overdue as long as mom and baby are doing OK.
Can you talk to them about putting it off a little bit longer if you aren't comfortable with being induced so soon?

I think all Dr.'s are different...2 girls I work with were induced the day after there due date...
IDK if it was because the baby was BIG or if they asked to be...but the were induced and had healthy babies!!!
If you would rather wait it out, then I would discuss it with your DR.
