Have you ever met a Leap Day Baby
DH and I wanted to get married on Leap Day, we were going to elope, then realized we needed to get the license the day before.

My friend's dad was one. They threw him a happy 18th Bday party when he turned 72. It was funny - they made signs that said "You're Legal!"
I think the non-leap years, they just celebrated on the 28th.

My neighbor growing up was born on Leap Day and he celebrated on the 28th...
my brother just missed - he was born on march 1st of a leap year

my husband's friend's daughter was born on leap day last year. i'm not sure, but i think they decided to celebrate on feb 28, though i think it should be march 1.

I had twin students who were born on a leap year. Actually one was born on Feb 28th close to midnight and the other a few minutes later on Feb 29th after midnight. Nice because they have two different birthdays but only once every few years.

My friend who's staying at my house this weekend is a Leap Year baby - 1976! We always make a big deal out of saying ohh, you're 4 this time, ohhhh, you're 5 now

I a SO happy that this year isn't a leap year b/c my due date is Feb. 28- way too close of a chance to giving birth on leap day if it was this year!
