How do I go about getting a passport for my DS

We are going on a cruise next year and I read that as of December, 2006 everyone must have a valid passport with them. So how do I go about getting DS's done?

I also have to renew mine cuz it expires in June. I would like to get this done now. Mine I can do by mail but I can't DS's by mail can I?

Can I still apply by mail even though I have a name change? I'll probably have to send them my marriage certificate right?

I think when you have a name change it is like getting a new passport. You just have to go to a main post office and usually their is a passport center their.

i just got Talia a passport - just go to a post office that has a passport office and they will do everything including taking the picture.

we just did ours..

Mine and Dh HAD to be by mail.. i had to send away my original marriage cert. and we got pictures taken at CVS.

DD we also got her pics taken at CVS.. they are very helpful and half the price of the post office. We made an Appt for a Sat so that both of us were there. they make you show two forms of ID and you have to sign it in front of the person. You can also got a notice that has to be notrtised that your spouse know know you are getting a passport for a minor.
