Mid cycle spotting

Well My IUI is scheduled for tommorow, so Im at day 13....Well When I got home after Drs visit and then some shopping I had a lot of brown spotting...not heavy but almost as much as I get at the end of AF.

Should I mention this to the dr tommorow or was it just due to the sono?

I should mention I did feel I had a slight infection the last few days and am wondering if it was due to that?

AM I just being a worry wart? lol

I think its just from the sono. I am CD10 and had some spotting today too, I mentioned it to my MD before my sono and he seemed to think nothing of it.

Re: Mid cycle spotting

yes I am ovulating. We had our IUI this morning, the Dr had to wipe a lot of old blood off the cervix, didnt say anything though, so I wont worry ( or try not to) ...and I felt O pains this month for the first time in years....

Re: Mid cycle spotting

Sometimes when estrogen is surging,...you can spot. Basically just like Diane said, during ovulation.

The same thing can happen in your 2ww.

If you continue to have mid cycle spotting, I would ask for a saline sonogram to rule out fibroids or polyps. They unfortunately can also cause spotting.

Re: Mid cycle spotting

well Im still spotting today, 4th day and its still kinda heavy, not continual but enough....It is brown though, no red spotting, so maybe thats not such a bad sign? Never spotted for 4 days like this mid cycle so heavily or at all....hmmmm
