I added sound - heartbeat...Another sono today and I have a question about the baby and it's measurements....
I actually video taped my sono today with my digital camera. It's about 35 seconds long and you can hear the heartbeat  Here is the link. I just wanted to share - you can REALLY hear the heartbeat at the end.
I'm 7 weeks 3 days PG today and the baby is measuring 7 weeks 1 day.
It's normal for the baby not to be right on target, right? Or no?

I sounds totally normal! My baby's heartrate was always about 130 - I had a boy - they say the lower heartrates are boys (old wives tale)!

That is totally normal, the baby goes through many growth spurts and some days you will go and it will be off a few days, somedays it will be ahead a few days.

Also, my dr told me that sonograms have a plus or minus of about 3 days.

My sonos always measure me a week and a few days further along then I am...
It could mean Im a little further along, it could mean my baby is big.. or it could mean nothing...
I wouldnt worry!

Oh yeah and they told me my due date was May 8th! I already figured that out online but at least its confirmed now!!

It's not an exact science. I was only right on target a couple of times. Don't worry about it at all.

totally normal for the measurments to be off, they don't worry unless it's more than 2 weeks off (which would indicate that development may have stopped, as it did in my case)

I read that once a fetal heartbeat is detected, the chance of having a m/c droped by 70-90%...we've heard the heartbeat twice already. At 6w4d it was 117 bpm and today at 7w2d is was 130bpm! So I feel comfortable with that

My baby has been measuring 1-2 weeks ahead of what I really am. My Dr says they dont ever change the due date though, she told me it means i could go earlier or that the baby will just be big. I say u are right on track!!! Congrats!!!

Congrats! I haven't had a sono in awhile, but she always measured a week smaller. They said it was no problem as long as it is within 2 weeks.
