the best buy saga CONTINUES

So after fighting with them and get 100.00 bucks back. The installers come today they told me that the dishwasher is damaged. I'm like WHAT..... I go in and there are two dents on the side of the door. Whats funny about it is that when they came to deliver the dishwasher i saw them and said what is this and the delivery guy told me it was supposed to be like that. Theres one on each side by the hinges so honestly it looks very natural. We go to the store and they tell me another week to deliver a new one and instal it. I said no I want it done tomorrow. Theres nothing they can do. I ask for district managers name they cant give that out to me IVE never heard that before.

so I call the 1888 # I am givin go through this story she puts me on hold and hangs up on me!! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Kristin,

Do you have a Lowes anywheres near you?

I got a flyer this weekend that says Free Next Day Local Delivery and Free Haul Away

And in the small letters it says: Free next day local deliveryand free haul away on major appliance purchases over $397 via mail-in rebate. Offer valid through 2/19/06. Additional fees may apply for deliveries outside 20 mile local area. Rebate values and additional charges vary, see store for details.

It also has a thing that says Zero payments and interest for 6 months.

There are 6 dishwashers shown, which one is yours?

Re: the best buy saga CONTINUES

When a customer is satisfied with the service they tell only 5 people. However when a customer is dissatisfied they tell 11 people.

The number 1 reason a person will not go back to a store and/or company is because of their customer service.

The best thing to do is write a letter to the CEO explaining your disgust. Often at times depending on how you phrase your letter he will take action. Sometimes that person is unable to respond but will have the next person in command answer and address. My company takes complaints very seriously and if our COO receives a nasty letter from a customer he personally responds. (after he investigates to make sure their claim is valid)

It is always best to voice your opinion to the powers that be because customer service is what keeps a company in business.
