After the Level II sono, do you get another one?
Or do you just have to wait til labor to see the baby again?

Every doctor is different. My doctor only does the internal between 10-12 weeks and then one at 20 weeks. Nothing more until the baby comes unless something is wrong. But the second half of your pregnancy will go much faster than the first, so it wasn't too bad. But I was still pretty impatient. 
Kinda off topic, but when I had my 20 week sonogram it was 3D, and you could see the baby pretty well but I still couldn't imagine what she'd really look like. Now that she's here I totally see her making the same faces and gestures that she did in the sonogram. It's so funny!

I paid for one at 29 weeks which was a 4d one and then I got another medical sono at 32 weeks to make sure my son was still head down and to check his weight.

Most of the 4d are 3d/4d they enccorporate both together, I havent heard of any 4d places yet exclusively on the east coast.
My friend had a 3d/4d one done in NJ, right outside the city I think it was, She said it was called WOMB with a view or something like that and it was $175 with pictures...
She said when she looked for 4D only , the closest place was in CANADA.....
She said there was another place in the city a specific DR but not to go there, its like a surgical center , drs office that is shady. Shes gonna look it up for you so you dont go there.

After my level II I got one more from the Dr. like 3 weeks ago for measurements. But at my job i got free ones almost weekly!!!

It's amazing! I got it done at my doc's office. You can call them to see if they'll do them for non patients.

I've had 4 sonos already, and I'm only 19 weeks. I don't know why my doc did so many early on (5-6 weeks, then 10 weeks, then 15 weeks). The last one was at a perinatal consult I had -- nothing wrong, just preventive medicine. I still have my level II coming up next week. I've gotten pretty used to seeing my baby. Since everything turned out ok at the perinatal consult, I probably won't be seeing so much of my peanut after next week. It will be a big bummer. I'm going to call the place in Great Neck to see if I can get one of the 3d/4d ones when it gets closer to the due date and I'm not getting them as frequently at my docs.
