Re: sleep positioner for baby

I bought that positioner from Babies r us a few months ago. We used it for about 2 months then stopped until a few weeks ago when he started rolling over in the crib. I would wake up and find him on his stomach and his feet hanging through the crib slats. Now that we are using it again he goes to sleep on his back and ends up on his side. I would recommend buying 2 though, there were many nights when the diaper leaked through and I had to wash the positioner and put him to sleep with nothing around him. I dont think they are that expensive.

rollup a large receiving blanket around a towel...then make it into a u shape to put around the baby's legs and sides...this is what they did in Stony Brook's NICU....I did it at home until he was big enough that he didnt need it.

I think I have the same one. The one I got was either by First Years or Especially for Baby- can't remember.

We got the Especially for Baby one on Amazon.com

It worked really well plus we loved the pillow

Jack's is called "Sleep Right" it's like 14bucks I figured I couldn't go wrong. And Especially for baby makes burp pads which fit perfectly on it to waterproof it.

It's called "Air Flow Sleep Positioner"
by The First Years
Here it is

ETA: I have it--use it in the PNP, but have opted to use rolled up receiving blankets in the crib and they work just fine!

The inclined to sleep is a positioner and a wedge in one...i had orignally registered for that and then changed it to the air flow due to the reviews I read on amazon

Just to present another option -- you may do just fine without a sleep positioner. I never used one. Baby was happy with just a swaddle.
