Do you buy gifts for the Godparents to be??
I am Baptising my son in a few weeks. Do I buy thank you gifts for the Godparents to be?

Not necessary at all but a nice gesture. I have been a godparent and not rec'd a gift.
I bought my son's godparents - keychains from Red Envelope - the ones where you can put pictures in them. I put pictures of them with the baby in them.

I got his godmother roses (well I sent them to her- when we asked her)
and his godfather a cookie bo-k...
However- I did both of this when I asked them..... after the actual day- I didnt give them anything...

We gave their sponsors a 5x7 with a pic in it after the Naming Ceremony.

We did, but it's not necessary. Small token gifts are nice. I think I got them each religious medals.
