I had one. I noticed no difference.

I got the cheap version of the Tourmaline and I love it.

My hair dries faster and doesn't seem to get as fried.

YES and I LOVE it. It's terrific. My hair dries so quickly, used to take 40, now styled and done in 20. And, not as many split ends.

I have one and really didn't notice that much difference.
I'm using a professiona hair dryer now and it's the best.
