Nightmare w/Pictures at Sears Yesterday

So I took the girls to get their pictures taken at Sears yesterday. Big mistake taking them on the hottest day of the year. Delaney was super shy and Peyton decided she had to eat and they were just miserable. We were able to get one picture of them by themselves but my whole purpose was to try and get the two of them together. Unsuccessful.

Does anyone else find that their children just don't do well at these places? I think I'm going to either have someone come to my house next time or just do them myself.

We took Abby to Kiddie Kandids 4 times for her 3 month pictures. All 4 times she had a meltdown. I decided to just have someone come to my house to take the pictures and I found that it worked out so much better, was more convenient and actually cheaper.

I feel your pain.

Katie did terrible at KK and Barb has tried twice to get some pics of her and we haven't had much success with that either.

I can't even tell you how irritated I was. It was like 100 degrees in the room and I think the photographer was getting frustrated too. So of course that was making me feel even worse.

I'm going to that sears today for pictures, can I asked who did your pictures? I know the last time I went around Christmas, there was a woman who was very good, and the time before that was a guy who I thought was just ok. Not sure who I will get today.

I think every place is the same, and it depends on the mood of your child or children that day, and who is taking there pic's. I never had a problem when I went to KK by me, cause the people working there are super friendly and they talk to Julia before taking her picture just so she gets use to the person, plus we go there so much shes a pro at it now.

When I go to KK I let who ever is taking her picture know that I dont want to feel rushed and I need a little time with my daughter to make her feel comfortable, hey I'm paying for these pics and I want them to come out nice, so I dont care what they tell me, its my time!
